2025 SPRING CONVENTION

Dear Local Presidents,

We are excited about our 2025 Spring Convention April 25-26, 2025, to be held at the South Meridian Church of God, 2402 Meridian Street, Anderson, Indiana. Please enter at the Ramp Entrance.  This year’s convention theme is: “Give Me Oil for My Lamp” (Matthew 25:1-10). We are praying that you will join us for two days of spiritual encouragement and fellowship.

Our convention speaker is Rev. Mary Stephens, Senior Pastor of South Side COG, South Bend, Indiana. She is an ordained minister in the Church of God. Much of Mary’s professional career was spent at Christian Women Connection, where she was a Ministry Coordinator for twelve years. As she shares the Word of God to inspire and encourage us to grow in our Christian endeavors! This year our worship leader is Coni Christjansen, of New Hope COG, Terre Haute, Indiana.

Please see the enclosed registration for complete convention registration information. Convention registration pricing is listed below:

  • Friday night only $55 (1 meal)
  • Friday & Saturday $75 (2 meals)
  • Saturday $45 (1meal)

Convention registration will be held at the church from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Please come to the Church before going to the hotel.  Hotel accommodations are as follows: TRU by Hilton, 2410 W. 64th St., Anderson, IN 46012. Hotel pricing is on the registration form.

Leah Green will cater all meals. Friday night dinner will be 6:15 pm – 7:15 pm and Saturday morning a hot breakfast is served from 8am – 9am. THERE WILL BE NO LUNCH so everyone can travel home earlier.

There will be a President’s meeting at the Church at 4:00 pm for all State Officers and Local Church Presidents, and please have a representative attend if you are not attending.

This year’s Spring Offering received at the Convention will assist missionaries the Corey and Abby Stocksdale family serving in Botswana, Africa.

Our Silent Auction will assist the Anderson University matching scholarship fund, which supports women in ministry. Each group is asked to donate and bring a gift basket that includes:

A. Themed gift basket that should be wrapped in clear cellophane packaging.

B. A tag that lists the contents in your basket and attaches it to the outside of the cellophane.

C. Write the total $$ value on your tag.
